World Conscious Rock

Being world conscious means opening your eyes to a larger world, much bigger than your circle of friends and family, bigger than your school, your street, your community. It's being aware of the global community and the many issues that effect us all today. Human trafficking, poverty, war, addiction, depression, genocide, lack of clean water, the list goes on. Not only is it being aware, but it is deciding to take action.

World Conscious Rock is a movement that exists to bring together music fans with great local bands, in local venues, and world changing non-profit organizations. Our vision is Music With A Mission. Proceeds from our shows are given to the non-profits that participate with us at our events.

Organizations we have worked with include: TOMS Shoes, Not For Sale Campaign, City Year San Jose, Compassion International

A student-initiated and student-led movement that began in Texas in 1990 with a single church youth group. It grew to more than 3 million by 1998.
